Data controller
The data controller is Q-Bot S.r.l. (VAT no. IT03735360780), with registered office at Via Ponte Pietro Bucci, cubo 45C – 87036 Rende (CS), Italy. For any request about the processing of your data, write to info@qbot.it.
What data we collect and why
We only process the data you give us and the technical data strictly needed to run the site:
- Contact form: first and last name, email, message and, if you provide them, company, phone and project type. We use them to answer your request.
- Applications form: name, email, chosen position, cover message and attached CV. We use them to assess your application.
- Technical browsing data (for example IP address and access time), logged by the server for security and correct operation of the site. To protect the forms from spam and abuse, the IP address of whoever submits a form is kept only in pseudonymised form (a non-reversible hash) for one hour, then deleted automatically.
Legal basis
- Answering requests and assessing applications: performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Technical browsing data: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and local storage
The site does not use profiling cookies or third-party analytics tools. Your browser only keeps the chosen language (local storage) and a session flag that avoids repeating the opening animation: they are needed for the site to work and are not sent to third parties.
External services
Fonts, icons and graphics libraries are hosted on the site itself: browsing does not send data to third-party services. Messages sent through the forms are delivered by our own mail server.
Recipients and retention
Data is accessible only to Q-Bot's authorised staff and to the technical providers we need (hosting and email); it is not sold or disclosed. We keep it for as long as needed to handle the request or the selection and, afterwards, for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You may at any time ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data by writing to info@qbot.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Providing your data
Providing data is optional, but without the fields marked as required in the forms we cannot answer your request or assess your application.
